The K-4 was one of the most numerous class engines on any single American railroad. They sported large 80 inch drivers, Belpaire Fireboxes and could develop a boiler pressure of 205 lbs. The engines typically weighed 308,890 lbs and could develop a tractive effort of 44,460 lbs. The K-4s were built between 1914 and 1928 and served until the end of steam.
