This is Bachmann 54305 HO Maine Central 2-8-2 Mikado w/Medium Tender w/Sound & DCC #617. The latest in Bachmann’s USRA series of locomotives, the 2-8-2 is also known as the “Mikado” after Baldwin delivered the first engines with this wheel arrangement to Japan Railways in 1893. Our DCC sound-equipped USRA light model includes our Sound Value SoundTraxx ® steam sound package with authentic prototypical chuff, short and long whistles, bell, air pump, steam release and blower–all in 16-bit polyphonic sound. Performs best on 18 radius curves or greater.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The tender's draw-bar pin is broken. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
