Here is a Spectrum 81703 HO Scale Atlantic Coast Line 2-10-0 Russian Decapod #8003. It features a plastic boiler, cab and tender body, die-cast locomotive chassis, powerful motor, metal spoked drive wheels and side rods, operating knuckle couplers, headlight and tender back-up light, and decorative whistle, bell and plastic handrails. It is DCC-ready but does not have a decoder installed.

Introduced in the late 19th century, the 2-10-0 was first unveiled in North America for the Lehigh Valley Railroad on the East Coast. The 2-10-0 notation would catch on quickly, and would soon before commissioned in rail-yards all over the world for their versatility, and powered axels making them a powerful locomotive despite drawbacks with the firebox and running at low speeds. These models would run well into the mid-20th century before eventually making their way from a running status to a preservation state. Today a handful of these “Decapods” can be found in museums!
