The locomotive features plastic construction, a smoke stack, an operating headlight, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The freight cars feature plastic construction, plastic trucks, latch couplers, plastic wheels and axles. The track sections feature plastic ties and metal rails.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. One of the figures has their arm broken off. This item has been stored in a basement for a while by the previous owner and has a slight odor. The original box is included.
