Lionel 2243P Vintage O Santa Fe F-3 A Powered Diesel Locomotive VG/Box

Here is a Lionel 2243P Vintage O Santa Fe F-3 A Powered Diesel Locomotive from 1955-57. The 2243 is the "O27" version of the famous 2333/2343/2353 series of Santa Fe F-3s. The 2243 differs in having only one motor and no porthole lenses. It does have an operating horn and headlight. The front coupler can be activated from a remote uncoupler track. The other coupler is fixed. Other features include plastic construction, die-cast trucks and knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are heavy nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. This item has small spots of rusting. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
