Lionel 2337 Vintage O Wabash GP-7 Powered Diesel Locomotive VG

Here is a Lionel 2337 Vintage O Wabash GP-7 Powered Diesel Locomotive from 1958. The 2337 Wabash GP7 diesel is another version of Lionel‘s high-quality road switchers sold in the 1950‘s. It has many of Lionel‘s top-of-the-line features and carries an attractive and realistic paint scheme. This particular diesel is very similar to the 2339 Wabash GP7 produced in 1957. Collectors and operators still actively seek this engine for their collections or layouts. Since this diesel was only offered for a single year, it is difficult to find in collector quality condition. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, operating lights, an operating horn, die-cast metal trucks, knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The front coupler is broken and missing. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
