Lionel 2343 Vintage O Santa Fe F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set

Here is a Lionel 2343 Vintage O Santa Fe F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set. One of the icons of the Post-war Era, the 2343 improved upon the original 2333 with the addition of Magnetraction The powered unit features dual motors, a remote activated operating horn, an operating headlight, illuminated number boards and cab, die-cast metal frame and trucks, a die-cast operating coupler on the front and a fixed die-cast coupler on the rear. The non-powered unit features an operating light, a die-cast frame, trucks, metal wheels and axles. It matches the 2343C B Unit with a screen top.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-3: Poor based on visual appearance. The powered unit has been tested & runs properly. There are heavy scratches, significant loss in paint, zinc pest, corrosion & other blemishes along the bodies of both locomotives. The powered unit appears to have a dark spot towards the end of the locomotive. The trucks, wheels & couplers show heavy wear, tarnishing and spots of zinc pest. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
