Lionel 6-9308 O Gauge Operating Aquarium Car EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 6-9308 O Gauge Operating Aquarium Car. This is the Lionel 9308 MPC version of the classic operating aquarium car from 1981-84. The car is illuminated with fish printed on a clear filmstrip. When power is applied the filmstrip circles around the inside of the car which makes the fish appear to swim especially with the rippled windows. This car was made between 1981-84 and has the same vibrator mechanism like the original postwar version instead of the newer mechanism used in the more recent releases. Other features include plastic construction, plastic trucks, knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This item shows some light scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. This item is in overall excellent condition, free of broken trim pieces. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The previous owner has placed stickers on this item's packaging. The original box is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
