Lionel 6-9317 O Gauge AT&SF Blue & Yellow Bay Window Caboose #9317 EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 6-9317 O Gauge AT&SF Blue & Yellow Bay Window Caboose #9317 from 1979. This car has a bit of an interesting history. Originally, when Lionel brought out the 8872-73 Santa Fe SD-18 Diesels in 1978, they also made a 9174 Santa Fe Caboose in prototypical red and black markings. However, many collectors complained that it did not match the locomotive, so Lionel made the 9317 the following year to match the engine. This car is lighted and features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis.
