Lionel 736 Vintage O 2-8-4 Berkshire Steam Locomotive VG/Box

This is a Lionel 736 Vintage O 2-8-4 Berkshire Steam Locomotive from 1950-66. The 736 was a mainstay of Lionel's line for much of the Postwar Era and was included in numerous top of the line sets. Features include die-cast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and nice detail. This is the earlier version with the die-cast rear truck.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This item shows scratches, scrapes, nicks, dents, and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the drive rod. The grab rails are ill fitting and move a bit. The shell of tis item has chips in it. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
